Bokaro: Amogh Anand Jha of class VI of DPS Bokaro brought coveted glory, not only to the state but also to the country by securing a Second International Rank in the International Informatics Olympiad 2018-19. He received Rs. 7500 and a trophy along with a certificate for his scintillating performance, school Public Relation official informed.

Besides Amogh 19 other students of DPS Bokaro have bagged top rankings in which 4 students have been declared State toppers while 7 were declared second in the state. Those students who were declared state toppers and received gold medals are Abhineet Sharan, Rishi Divya Kirti,  Sarang Deb Saha and Yash.

The students who secured state rank2  and received silver medals are: Kumar Anmol, Priyanshu Kumar,Sayan Karmakar,Aameya Devansh, Shikha Shreya,Nayan Kumar, Siddhi while those who got state rank 3 and received bronze medal are: Aditya Mishra, Ritul Kumar Singh, Harsh Rai, Anshul Kumar Singh, Pranshu Gaur, Sourav Priyadarshi, Tanishka Singh and Rasa Krishna Behera.

Congratulating the students A. S. Gangwar, Principal DPS Bokaro said, “It is just the beginning and the journey they have started should be continued with perseverance and determination.”
