ANS: Amidst lockdown, Tanishq (jewellery brand of Tata group) is taking the online route; selling its products online ahead of Akshaya Tritiya this year.
Akshaya Tritiya is falling on April 26 this year and sales will go on till 27 April on its e-commerce platform www.tanishq.co.in, informed Kiran a company representative (over phone).
In a bid to curtail the spread of COVID-19 lockdown is extended till 3 May in the country. One can buy any products through online but delivery only will be made when the situation returns to normalcy and services resume, she said.
“Customers can either opt to go to the store and pick up their jewellery or get it delivered to their doorstep,” added Kiran.
“We are reaching out to customers to put out collective belief and hope in the tradition for a new beginning, and usher in a brighter tomorrow,” said Ajoy Chawla, CEO, Jewellery Division at Titan Company Ltd, in a statement released by the company.
