Mumbai: Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan passed away at the age of 71 in Mumbai on Friday following a cardiac arrest. She breathed her last at 1.52 AM; her sad demise has left everyone shocked in the film industry.
“Khan had been admitted to a city hospital on 20 June after complaining of breathlessness,” said Manish Jagwani Saroj Khan’s nephew.
“We buried her at around 7 am. The prayer meeting will be held after three days,” told Sukaina Khan Saroj Khan’s daughter.
Khan choreographed around 2000 songs; she won three National Awards for films Devdas, Jab We Met and Sringaram (Tamil). She also won Filmfare Awards for movies like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Guru, Khalnayak and Chaalbaaz.
