ANS: Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) appreciated the contributions of its women employees, praised their talent, and felicitated them on the eve of International Women’s Day. At BSL there are around 30 female workforces who contribute exemplarily to the growth of the company, were felicitated in an event organized on the eve of International Women’s Day at the Human Resource Development (HRD) center of BSL in which a large number of women employees participated.
The event was inaugurated with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp. Amarendu Prakash, director-in-charge (DI) of BSL, was the chief guest at the function. Speaking on the occasion, DI congratulated the female workers of BSL on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
He said it is impossible to imagine advancement without the participation of women. The Chief Guest also lauded the efforts of Bokaro Steel Plant’s female workers, saying that they represent “immense potential” and “can lead BSL to the pinnacle of excellence” with their ingenuity and hard work.
On this eve, trainee women, the Mahila Samiti team, female doctors and nursing staff of BGH, and other women employees of the steel plant presented many entertaining acts, including group dance, group songs, short plays and more, which enthralled the audiences.
General Manager (Business Excellence) Anupama Tiwari proposed a vote of thanks after the event, which was coordinated by Shubneet Bhatnagar of the Public Relations Department. BSL’s Security Department also organised special events on this eve.
On this International Women’s Day, Manoj Kumar, Chief General Manager (Security) of the Security Department, extended his congratulations and best wishes to the women employees.
Besides others, CEO (BPSCL) KK Thakur, ED (Operations) BK Tiwari, ED (Projects) CR Mohapatra, ED (Finance & Accounts) S Rangani, ED (Materials Management) Amitabh Srivastava, ED (Mines) J Das Gupta, Executive Director (Personnel and Administration) Rajan Prasad, President of Mahila Samiti Bokaro Anita Tiwari including Chief General Managers, other senior officers, Vice President and members of Mahila Samiti and women employees of BSL were present in the event.
