Roshan Mishra, who had a difficult upbringing in the slums of Tundi, Dhanbad, proved that talent and hard work can overcome any obstacles.
Devbhoomi Kala Kendra, a non-governmental organization in Uttarakhand, staged a three-day art exhibition featuring Roshan’s paintings and those of 15 other artists, thanks to his devotion and hard work.
He was selected for the National Art Camp in Mussoorie and the National Art Exhibition in Rishikesh in Uttarakhand.
“I always loved art, and my talent has amazed others. My mother and father inspired me. Especially my mother always used to encourage me to do better,” said Roshan, adding, “Continuous effort is the main mantra of my success.”
