ANS: A dozen of dedicated employees of the Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS) officially joined the ranks of the DVC Mazdoor Sangh (DVC Workers’ Union) on Tuesday.
CTPS, a unit of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), which operates within the region, witnessed this surge in membership during a well-attended union meeting held at the CTPS Guest House. The new members, who will now be part of the DVC Mazdoor Sangh, include J.S. Rai, Animesh Giri, Tapan Mahato, Sanjay Sen, Jitendra Tiwari, Krishna Prasad, Anand Kumar, Dilip Paramanik, among others.
The union’s leaders extended a warm welcome to these freshly inducted members, expressing their heartfelt congratulations for taking the decision to join the DVC Mazdoor Sangh.
This move is expected to fortify the representation and collective voice of DVC employees stationed in Chandrapura, with potential benefits for their working conditions and rights.
