Bokaro: Students from D.A.V. Public School, Sector 6, have showcased their exceptional talents in the 31st National Children’s Science Congress, a prestigious event organized by the Society for Science, GGPS Sector 5, Bokaro.
The National Children’s Science Congress hosts this national program that promotes awareness of the rights and obligations of education while serving as a platform to discover and nurture young scientific minds.
Among the 18 projects presented by 17 schools from Jharkhand state, an impressive 13 schools secured a place in the fifth level in the senior category and the sixth level in the junior category.
Remarkably, Abhinetra and Gayan, students of class 9th at DAV Public School Sector 6, Bokaro, emerged as part of the select group from these 13 schools.
Their project, titled “Fashal se Shilp tak-Ganne ke khoi se Kagaj ka utpadan karna” (“From crop to craft- producing paper from sugarcane bagasse”), has earned them the privilege of representing their school and state in the upcoming National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) event scheduled to take place at S.R. DAV School, Pudang Ranchi, in December.
The success of Abhinetra and Gayan’s project would not have been possible without the invaluable guidance of Swaroop Kumar Nath, who provided essential support as the project guidance teacher.
School Principal Brij Mohan Lal Das congratulated the students for their remarkable achievements, highlighting the school’s commitment to fostering scientific curiosity and innovation among its students.
