Bokaro: In an effort to create a positive and enriching environment for its students, Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro recently organized an exciting picnic for students ranging from Pre-nursery to Class VIII. In addition, an engaging movie screening was organized for students from classes 9 to 12, emphasizing the importance of a comprehensive education that extends beyond the confines of the classroom.
The primary objective of this event was to offer students a refreshing respite, fostering camaraderie and relaxation. For the junior classes, it was a day filled with laughter, games, and outdoor activities, providing a welcome break from their academic routines while also promoting team building and social interaction among peers.
For the senior students, classes 9 to 12, a special movie screening was arranged. This segment catered to their more mature tastes, aligning with the diverse interests of older students. The movie selection was thoughtfully curated to offer both entertainment and a meaningful viewing experience.
Dr A. S. Gangwar, the Principal of DPS Bokaro, highlighted the significance of such breaks in the school calendar. He remarked, “Events like the picnic and movie show are essential for holistic development. They not only provide students with a break from their studies but also contribute to the formation of a vibrant school community.” Dr. Gangwar encouraged students to use these moments to recharge, bond with their classmates, and return with renewed enthusiasm for their academic pursuits. He emphasized, “The well-being of our students is our priority, and we believe in nurturing a balanced and enjoyable educational journey.”
The picnic and movie show at DPS Bokaro served as a testament to the school’s commitment to providing its students with a well-rounded educational experience that prioritizes both academic excellence and personal growth.
