ANS: Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro student, Ankita Sakshi has once again showcased outstanding performance in the Knowledge and Awareness Mapping Platform (KAMP) organized by CSIR and NIScPR under the Department of Science and Industrial Research, Government of India.
The KAMP-National Assessment for Scientific Temperament and Aptitude (NASTA 2023) saw Ankita Sakshi, a Class XI student, secures the prestigious title of State Topper. Ankita achieved an overall Grade A+ and was awarded the State Gold Award, along with a cash prize and Certificate of State Excellence.
Furthermore, several other students from various classes were awarded the Certificate of Excellence for their exceptional performance. Among them were Aditya Raj and Paridhi Sahu from Class V, Pranjal Chandra, Shrey Kashyap, and Anshula Shree from Class VI, Ayushman Singh, Avani Avanya Pandey, and Atharv Kumar from Class VII, Kunal Anand, Ayush Lachhiramka, and Nirvan from Class IX, and Aavya Singh, Sarvagya Singh, and Amogh Anand Jha from Class X.
Participating alongside over 5 lakh students from schools across India, NASTA aims to provide a comprehensive assessment of students’ proficiency in essential skills and talents. The examination focuses on evaluating competencies crucial for holistic development, including observation, recognition, classification, precision, prediction, problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpretation.
Dr. A. S. Gangwar, Principal of DPS Bokaro, commended the students’ achievements in KAMP-NASTA, highlighting that such examinations stimulate scientific curiosity and nurture excellence in innovation. He encouraged students to actively participate in such competitions to further their development as global leaders.
