ANS: The 53rd National Safety Week concluded at Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS), a unit of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) with a call for strict adherence to safety rules in the plant area. The event, organized by the Management and Safety Department of CTPS, honoured many officers and employees during a program at Tejas Bhawan’s conference room.
Addressing the function, Senior General Manager and Project Head Manoj Kumar Thakur emphasised the importance of following safety rules in the plant area under all circumstances. He stressed the goal of zero accidents and urged everyone to work safely.
General Manager Abhijit Ghosh reiterated the commitment to safety and highlighted the need for constant vigilance throughout the year.
Assistant Manager Ashok Choubey discussed various safety points, including the promotion of a safety culture through collective efforts, and reviewed safety efforts from last year to this year.
During the event, DVC-CTPS officers and employees who participated in various competitions were felicitated. Officers from different departments, including Vigilance, Operation, IPH, OPH, Store, Civil, and MPC were honored for their contributions to safety. Ashok Chaubey conducted the function, with several others in attendance, including Ranjit Kumar Choubey, Hari Mukund Prajapati, Suprabha Jolly Samad, Mohammad Imtiaz, and Akshay Kumar.
