ANS: The international community has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, expressing shock and solidarity with Russia. United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the attack in the strongest terms, calling on all states to cooperate actively with Russian authorities to hold those responsible accountable.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, along with the leaders of the US, EU, UK, France, Spain, and UAE, also condemned the terror attack, expressing shock and solidarity with the victims and their families.
French President Emmanuel Macron conveyed his country’s solidarity with the victims and the Russian people. Similarly, Spain and Italy denounced the attack as an act of terrorism, expressing their full solidarity with the affected people and victims’ families.
The Islamic State Khorasan (ISIS-K) has claimed responsibility for the attack. The Kremlin has reported that 11 individuals, including four suspected gunmen, have been arrested in connection with the shooting rampage.
Russia’s Investigative Committee has stated that the death toll has risen to 115, with over 120 people wounded. The death toll is expected to rise as the investigation continues.
