Chandrapura: A one-day official language workshop was successfully held at Tejas Bhawan of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) Chandrapura Thermal Power Plant (CTPS) at Bokaro today.

The event was inaugurated by Senior General Manager and Project Head, Manoj Kumar Thakur, along with other senior officers of DVC, through a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony.

In his address, Thakur emphasised the significance of the Hindi language, calling it the “mother of all languages” in India.

He stressed the importance of maintaining the pride and respect of Hindi, noting that language is deeply connected to a country’s culture. He urged everyone to pledge to preserve and honor Hindi for future generations.

Senior General Manager Rampravesh Sah advocated for granting Hindi the status of the national language and encouraged its use in all spheres of work.

He pointed out that many developed nations have achieved their status by embracing their native languages, implying that adopting Hindi could similarly contribute to India’s progress.

Senior General Manager of Human Resources, D.C. Pandey, highlighted the pride one should feel in using Hindi. General Manager P.K. Mishra described Hindi as a scientific language, asserting that using it generates a unique energy within individuals, and urged everyone to conduct all their tasks in Hindi.

The event was moderated by Hindi Officers Ravi Kumar Sinha and Sanjeev Kumar. It also featured speeches from General Manager Avijit Ghosh, Trainer Dr. Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal, Dr. Madhu Singh, Deputy General Manager (Administration) Dilip Kumar, among others.

The workshop saw participation from several attendees, including Dr. P.K. Ghosh, Rajiv Ranjan Ojha, Hari Mukund Prajapati, Parvind Kumar, Raj Kumar Chaudhary, Satyendra Narayan Singh, Vinod Kumar, Basanta Kumar Mohapatra, Sujit Kumar Thakur, Babulal Kumar, Sohit Singh, Satyanarayan Singh, Rajiv Ranjan Kumar, Rajan Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Sudama Kumar, Jai Dev Sarkar, Pintu Kumar, Akshay Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Raman Haldar, Braj Vibhuti Vilochan, Suku Lal Kisku, Golam Mahiuddin, Reena Kumari, Manish Kumar, Awadhesh Singh Shekhawat, Ravi Ranjan Singh, Amulya Singh Sardar, Ranjit Kumar Nirala, Kartik Mahato, Suraj Kumar, Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, and Sanjeev Kumar.

Certificates were distributed to all participants by the senior officials present during the eve.
