Bokaro: Demonstrating its commitment to academic and extracurricular excellence, DPS Bokaro organized ‘Medha- The Prowess’ at Kalidas Kala Bhawan to honor the top achievers of SSE and SSCE 2024, along with students who excelled in scholastic and co-scholastic domains, on Saturday. The event, a celebration of talent and achievement, saw 144 students being recognized with trophies, certificates, and medals.
Chief Guest Brajesh Singh, CRPF DIG (Operations), Bokaro Range, emphasized the importance of hard work, dedication, and perseverance in achieving success. He praised the collaborative efforts of parents, teachers, and the school in nurturing the students’ success stories, expressing his pride in participating in the school’s prestigious prize distribution ceremony. Special Guest Manju Singh also graced the occasion.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by melodious renditions of the welcome song and the school anthem. Vice Head Girl Himani Singh delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the event.
Highlighting the cultural aspect, the audience was treated to a spectacular dance performance based on the ‘Dashavatar’ of Lord Vishnu and a poignant presentation titled ‘Reflection,’ which explored themes of human values and self-introspection, captivating everyone present.
The prize distribution segment honored CBSE Board toppers and perfect scorers across various subjects, showcasing academic excellence. It also celebrated the students’ creativity and skill in diverse fields.
Principal Dr. A. S. Gangwar extended a warm welcome, underscoring DPS Bokaro’s commitment to nurturing holistic development and creating global citizens. He underscored ‘Medha’ as a platform to discover and cultivate young talents, urging students to strive for excellence and become catalysts for positive change worldwide.
Vice Head Boy Satyam Raj delivered the vote of thanks, concluding the event on a grateful note, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem, marking the end of a memorable celebration of achievement and aspiration at DPS Bokaro.
