Ranchi: Medica Hospital, in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital and Research Center and Jain Samaj, launched the ‘Masoom Dhadak’ initiative on Saturday, aiming to provide free heart surgeries to over 20 patients suffering from congenital heart defects.
The initiative was inaugurated by renowned cardiologist Dr. Hemant Narayan Ray, who praised Medica Hospital for its commitment to social responsibility. Dr. Vijay Mishra, Medical Director of Medica, expressed pride in the initiative, highlighting its role in inspiring others in the healthcare sector.
Dr. Narayan commended Medica for setting a precedent, noting that such initiatives should become standard practice for corporate hospitals.
President of Jain Samaj, Puranmal Jain, extended congratulations to Medica, affirming the organization’s dedication to humanitarian service. Dr. Dhananjay assured that the surgeries would be minimally invasive, ensuring safety and reduced postoperative discomfort for patients. Director Abid Tauqeer expressed gratitude and announced plans for similar initiatives in the future.
