Bokaro: On National Sports Day, the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) Chandrapura Thermal Power Station management led a special oath ceremony for its officers and employees.
Senior General Manager and Project Head Manoj Kumar Thakur emphasized the significance of sports in fostering a healthy and developed India. He highlighted the need for everyone to engage enthusiastically in various sports activities to maintain good health.
Thakur stressed that dedicating at least half an hour each day to physical activity is crucial for well-being.
During the ceremony, Thakur administered the sports oath in English, while Senior General Manager Rampravesh Sah conducted the oath in Hindi.
The event was attended by a range of senior officials, including Senior General Manager Human Resources D.C. Pandey, Deputy General Manager Sanjeev Kumar, and other notable figures including Manvendra Priyadarshi, R.R. Ojha, Dilip Kumar, and Mahavir Thakur, among others.
The ceremony underscored DVC’s commitment to promoting health and sports within its workforce.
