Ranchi: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday. The state BJP, led by Jharkhand President Babulal Marandi, organized a welcome and meet-and-greet event at Golchakkar Ground in Dhurwa to mark the occasion.

The event saw Champai Soren, accompanied by his supporters, make his formal entry into the BJP. Prominent figures present at the event included Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda, and State President Babulal Marandi. The ceremony was a significant moment for both Soren and the BJP as they welcomed a high-profile political leader into their fold.
