Bokaro: A heartfelt musical evening was held on Sunday in Sector 12B, organized by the Swaragini Musical Group, to honor the legendary playback singer Mukesh. The event celebrated the enduring legacy of Mukesh’s music, known for its emotional depth and timeless appeal.
Singer Arun Pathak highlighted the enduring charm of Mukesh’s songs, noting their ability to captivate audiences across generations. Pathak remarked on the special fondness people have for Mukesh’s melancholic tunes. Music enthusiast and teacher Neeraj Singh praised Mukesh’s songs for their profound emotional impact and remarkable sweetness. Raman Chaudhary emphasized that although Mukesh’s discography may be smaller in volume, his popularity remains unmatched. Ragini Sinha Ambasht and Alka Srivastava also praised the unmatched quality of Mukesh’s songs.
The evening featured a series of memorable performances. Arun Pathak delighted the audience with renditions of Mukesh classics such as “Chandan Sa Badan,” “Sajanwa Bairi Ho Gaye Hamaar,” “Jaane Kahan Gaye Wo Din,” “Do Kadam Tum Na Chale,” and “Aye Sanam Jisne Tujhe Chand Si Surat Di Hai.” Raman Chaudhary paid tribute with performances of “Aansu Bhari Hai Ye Jeevan Ki Raahein,” “Chand Aahe Bharega,” “Jeevan Bhar Dhundha Jisko,” and “Zikr Hota Hai Jab Kayanat Ka.”
