Ranchi: The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL) in Ranchi has officially inaugurated a Multipurpose Hall and Conference Hall, a move aimed at enhancing student engagement and opportunities for academic activities. The inauguration ceremony was officiated by Justice Sujit Narayan Prasad.
The event featured a ceremonial ribbon-cutting attended by notable guests, including Professor V. Vijayakumar, former Vice Chancellor of NLIU Bhopal, Sri Rajesh Sharan Singh, Secretary of the Department of Law, Government of Jharkhand, and Sri Rajendra Krishna, Chairman of the Jharkhand Bar Council.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ashok R. Patil spoke about the significance of the new facilities, particularly the Multipurpose Hall, which will host moot court competitions. He highlighted the university’s success in such events nationally and expressed optimism about the new venue’s potential to further enhance student participation and achievements. “This new hall will provide even more opportunities for our students,” he emphasized.
The inauguration was also attended by prominent members of the Executive Council, including Dr. Aman Mohit Hingorani, Dr. Jisu Ketan Patnaik, Assistant Registrar, Dr. K. Sayamla, Dr. Kaushik Bagchi, and Dr. Ravindra Pathak. The addition of these facilities is expected to bolster the university’s infrastructure and expand avenues for the academic and professional development of its students.
