Bokaro: Six distinguished teachers were recognized for their outstanding contributions during the Vishisht Samman Samaroh held at the DAV Public School Sector-6 auditorium. The event celebrated their achievements and commitment to education.
Among the honored, were Rupa Singh and Rajesh from the Department of Social Sciences, who received the “Gargi Manju Samman-2024” award in Ranchi. Additionally, the school’s sports teacher, Prashant Kumar, was presented with the “Guru Vashisht Samman-2024” in recognition of his dedication on the occasion of Dr. Radha Krishnan’s birth anniversary. Swaroop Nath, Manisha Ashwini Sahay, and Bhavna Ghale were also awarded the Best Teacher Award-2024 by the Rotary Club of Chas and Bokaro.
During the ceremony, Principal Anuradha Singh congratulated the honorees, emphasizing that success involves not just personal advancement but also inspiring others, fostering empathy, and cultivating moral values in students.
She stressed the importance of qualities such as time management, leadership, emotional intelligence, and adaptability in teachers, highlighting that their role extends beyond classroom instruction to include holistic student development and engagement in co-curricular activities.
