Ranchi: In a bid to promote a clean and healthy environment, a significant cleanliness drive was organized today at the CCL Headquarters as part of the “SwachhataHiSeva” initiative.
The drive was led by CCL CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh, with participation from Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Technical) Harish Duhan, Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar, along with other general managers and department heads. A large number of CCL Swachhata Mitras and employees from various departments joined enthusiastically, working together to clean the campus and encourage a culture of cleanliness.
The initiative focused on removing garbage, cleaning common areas, and implementing effective waste management practices. All participants dedicated their efforts to enhancing the cleanliness of the CCL HQ, aiming to foster a better work environment.
During the event, CMD emphasised the importance of cleanliness as a personal responsibility for everyone.
He noted that a clean environment contributes to physical health and instills a sense of community pride. To further motivate staff, he announced a new monthly cleanliness competition, where the cleanest department on the CCL campus will receive an award. A committee of CCL employees, with all female members serving as non-officials, will be formed to evaluate and determine the winning department based on their observations.
In addition to the cleanliness drive, a financial aid awareness camp was conducted for the Swachhata Mitras, providing information on financial management, including saving and loan options, while also educating participants on how to avoid cyber fraud.
