Ranchi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made significant announcements ahead of the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024, introducing a series of initiatives under the banner of “Panch Prana.” The party has committed to implementing these programs if they form the government after the elections.

Among the five major promises is the “Gogo Didi Yojana,” which aims to provide financial assistance of Rs 2,100 to every woman in Jharkhand, transferred directly to their bank accounts on the 11th of each month.

BJP’s Five Promises to the People of Jharkhand:

Gogo Didi Yojana: The BJP plans to transfer Rs 2,100 monthly to every woman in Jharkhand, aiming to empower women economically.

Lakshmi Johar Scheme: This initiative will offer LPG cylinders at Rs 500 each, with two cylinders provided free of charge annually to all households in the state.

Employment Generation: The BJP pledges to create 500,000 self-employment opportunities for youth over the next five years. Additionally, they will expedite recruitment for 287,000 vacant government positions, starting the process in the first cabinet meeting and completing 150,000 recruitments by November 2025. An annual recruitment calendar will also be established, consolidating existing examinations into a single format.

Yuva Sathi Allowance: To support graduates and post-graduates in their career pursuits, the BJP will provide a monthly allowance of ₹2,000 for two years, aiding them with educational expenses such as books and coaching fees.

Ghar Saakar Initiative: This program aims to correct past governance issues by offering free sand for house construction and fully implementing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to build 2.1 million houses. It will also enhance assistance by ₹100,000 for each housing unit. Furthermore, the BJP plans to provide tap water connections to 5.9 million households through the Jal Jeevan Mission by 2027.

These announcements reflect the BJP’s commitment to addressing the needs of the people of Jharkhand and highlight their strategies for the forthcoming elections.
