Gaya: To accommodate the surge in passenger demand during the Diwali and Chhath festivals, the Railways is launching several special trains. Four additional pairs of special trains have been announced to enhance travel convenience.
The Kota-Danapur-Kota Special (Train No. 09803/09804) will operate between Kota and Danapur, passing through key stations such as Guna, Sagar, Katni, Prayagraj Chheoki, and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction. This service will run with 19 coaches of Third AC class, departing Kota every Sunday and Thursday from October 27 to November 10, and returning from Danapur every Monday and Friday from October 28 to November 11. The train will leave Kota at 21:25 and arrive in Danapur at 20:00 the following day.
Additionally, the Patna-New Jalpaiguri-Patna Special (Train No. 05739/05740) will operate between New Jalpaiguri and Patna Junction, with a varied coach composition including First AC, Second AC, Third AC, and Sleeper Class. This train will run every Saturday from November 2 to November 30, with departures from New Jalpaiguri at 05:00, reaching Patna at 17:40.
The Katihar-Dauram Madhepura-Katihar Special (Train No. 07541/07542) will serve the route between Katihar and Dauram Madhepura daily from October 28 to November 30. Train No. 07541 will leave Katihar at 19:00, arriving at Dauram Madhepura at 22:00, while the return service will depart at 22:45.
Lastly, the Katihar-Chhapra-Katihar Special (Train No. 05744/05743) will operate between Katihar and Chhapra, running on Thursdays, Sundays, and Mondays from October 27 to November 28. Train No. 05744 will leave Katihar at 16:00, reaching Chhapra at 00:20 the following day.
These special services aim to ensure a smooth travel experience for passengers during the festive season.
