Bokaro: Mithila Mahila Samiti, a prominent wing of the Mithila Cultural Council, held a lively picnic at City Park on Wednesday, marking a significant event in its history. During the gathering, Poonam Mishra was unanimously appointed as the new president of the committee.

Seema Jha, who served as the president for the past two years, officially handed over the responsibilities to Mishra. Jha concluded her tenure on February 3 of this year, and her leadership was warmly appreciated by all members for her dedication and efforts.

In her acceptance speech, new president Mishra expressed her commitment to continuing the committee’s activities with the support of all members.

The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Dr. Manju Jha, Kiran Mishra, Abha Jha, Madhubala Jha, Prerna Ojha, Binita, Babita Jha, Vandana Jha, Namita Jha, Jayanti Pathak, Kanchan Jha, Ruby, Leela Jha, Aparna, Padma, and others.
