Jamshedpur: Xavier School of Management, one of India’s leading business schools, celebrated the 23rd Graduation Ceremony for its VIL and Corporate Programmes on Saturday at the Tata Auditorium. The ceremony marked the academic achievements of 314 working professionals from various programs, underscoring XLRI’s commitment to cultivating responsible business leaders for the future.

The graduates represented six programs, including PGCBM, PGCHRM, PGCHRM (Accenture), PGCGM, EDHRM, and EDABS. Shree Firdose Vandrevala, Founder Chairman of “The Firm” and former MD of Tata Power and Tata Steel, was the Chief Guest at the event.

Gold Medals for Academic Excellence were awarded to top achievers, including Tanya Malhotra (EDHRM), Vanshika Gupta (PGCHRM – Accenture), Puja Chatterjee (PGCGM – PwC), Shashank Shekhar (PGCBM), Prachi Painuly (PGCHRM), and Vindhya Rajendran (EDABS).

Shree Firdose Vandrevala, Founder Chairman of “The Firm” and former MD of Tata Power and Tata Steel, was the Chief Guest. Gold Medals for Academic Excellence were awarded to top performers such as Tanya Malhotra (EDHRM), Vanshika Gupta (PGCHRM – Accenture), and Puja Chatterjee (PGCGM – PwC).

Dr. Fr. Sebastian George, S.J., Director of XLRI, along with senior leadership, presided over the event. Fr. George emphasized the importance of inclusive growth and the responsibility of professionals in addressing socio-economic issues.

Vandrevala, a former XLRI student and faculty member, congratulated the graduates, sharing ten valuable lessons on balancing work and personal life, building resilience, and pursuing excellence. He encouraged the graduates to use their skills for societal good.

Highlighting the success of the EDHRM program, XLRI noted the significant impact its graduates have had across industries. Many of the professionals have moved into senior roles, with some receiving awards like the ET Emerging Leader Award and leading significant hospital expansions and workforce strategies that delivered impressive cost reductions.
