Bokaro: The grand Chaiti Durga Puja celebrations were held with great fervor at Sector 4D, near Tiwari Ji Paan Shop, once again this year. As in previous years, a majestic idol of Goddess Durga was installed in the pandal, where devotees offered prayers with devotion.

Following the Ashtami prayers yesterday, a large crowd gathered for the ninth day of the puja today. Devotees participated enthusiastically in the worship and aarti, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The distribution of kheer prasad added to the festive spirit.

The celebration witnessed active participation from organizers, including Bablu Tiwari and other members of the organizing committee. Devotees from neighboring sectors also visited the pandal to seek blessings from the Goddess.

In addition to the prayers, the pandal set up swings for children and a stage for cultural performances, where young participants actively engaged in singing and dancing. The festive vibe extended beyond the Sector 4D pandal, as similar celebrations took place at Sector 6’s Durga Temple, Sector 2’s Kali Temple, and other local temples across Bokaro.
