Patna: A tragic fire engulfed a hotel in Patna, Bihar, claiming the lives of several individuals and injuring many others. The fire, which began at the Pal Hotel, quickly spread to neighboring buildings before being brought under control by firefighters.

The incident resulted in the death of at least six people, with several others critically injured and receiving treatment at a local hospital. Firefighters worked tirelessly for over three hours to extinguish the blaze and rescue over 20 individuals trapped in the hotel.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and authorities are yet to determine the identities of the deceased. Senior Superintendent of Police, Rajeev Mishra, stated that the injured are being rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

The fire started in Hotel Pal and later spread to Hotel Amit and other nearby buildings. Officials have confirmed the recovery of one body from Hotel Pal and the remains of a mother and daughter from Hotel Amit.

Fire brigade officials deployed seven to eight fire tenders to control the blaze, which also resulted in the destruction of several vehicles in the vicinity. DIG (Fire), Mrityunjay Kumar Chaudhary, assured reporters that a thorough investigation would be conducted to determine the cause of the fire.
