Bokaro: The ambiance at Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro was transformed into a lively carnival as the institution hosted its annual student-run event, RIVAAYAT. Organized by the school’s Commerce section, the fete aimed to blend practical learning with entertainment, offering a unique experience for students and the wider school community.
The event was inaugurated by Principal Dr. A. S. Gangwar, who praised the vibrant decorations and engaging activities that characterized the day. The school grounds were abuzz with colorful decor and a variety of games, as students from Pre-Nursery through XII participated enthusiastically. The event also featured a range of food stalls, delighting attendees, including parents of younger students who fondly recalled their own school days.
RIVAAYAT provided a platform for commerce students to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world scenarios. Drawing from their studies in business, accounting, and economics, the students successfully managed various aspects of the fete, including planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling.
Dr. Gangwar commended the efforts of both students and faculty in executing such a successful and enriching event.
He highlighted that RIVAAYAT not only enhances entrepreneurial skills like leadership, creativity, and financial acumen but also fosters teamwork, camaraderie, and a sense of belonging within the school community.
RIVAAYAT 3.0 proved to be a resounding success, offering a day of memorable learning experiences and enjoyment for everyone involved.
