Bokaro: A newly developed “Urja Sthal” park, situated near the PPC building within the Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) premises was inaugurated on Monday.
B.K. Tiwari, Director-in-charge of Bokaro Steel Plant, inaugurated the park; the event was attended by Executive Director (Projects, Additional Charge MM) C.R. Mahapatra, Executive Director (HR, Additional Charge Operations) Rajan Prasad, and other senior officials.
The highlight of the park is an “Open Gym” constructed with in-house resources. This facility offers employees a serene natural setting to unwind from work stress and engage in fitness activities during their leisure time. The gym is outfitted with modern exercise equipment designed to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Additionally, the park features the tricolor and the Preamble of the Constitution, underscoring the plant’s commitment to both cultural and environmental enhancement. The development of Urja Sthal Park reflects the ongoing efforts to enhance the workplace environment.
Tiwari praised the Energy Management Department team for their initiative and urged continued efforts towards the plant’s betterment.
