Dhanbad: The five-day Nurturing Future Leadership Program, part of the Malviya Mission Teacher Training Program, concluded today at IIT-ISM Dhanbad with a valedictory ceremony highlighting the importance of leadership skills. The program, which began on October 21, brought together faculty members from various institutions across the country.
Professor Dheeraj Kumar, Deputy Director of IIT-ISM, served as the chief guest at the event. In his address, he emphasized the critical role that leadership skills play in effective teaching and problem-solving.
Professor Mrinalini Pandey, Coordinator of the Nurturing Future Leadership Program, noted that the initiative successfully fostered essential leadership qualities among participants from esteemed institutions, including IIEST Shibpur, Central University of Kashmir, Jamia University, NIAMT Ranchi, EFLU Hyderabad, BHU Varanasi, Central Sanskrit University, and BIT Mesra.
Professor Pandey acknowledged the vital support from the Ministry of Education through the MMTTP, which was instrumental in the program’s success. She also expressed gratitude to the esteemed resource persons whose insightful sessions greatly impacted the participants’ perspectives.
As the program wrapped up, participants were encouraged to apply the lessons learned and the connections made to inspire and innovate in their respective fields. Professor Pandey concluded by urging attendees to carry forward the knowledge gained during this transformative experience.
