Ranchi: The Coal India Medical Conference 2024, organized by Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), officially commenced today at the Darbhanga House Convention Center. Running from October 25 to October 27, the three-day event focuses on the theme “Health Priorities – Present and Future.” It features over 15 esteemed speakers from both India and abroad and is anticipated to attract around 250 medical professionals from Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries.
The inauguration began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony led by CCL’s Chairman and Managing Director, Nilendu Kumar Singh, along with key dignitaries including Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director Technical (Operations) Harish Duhan, Director Technical (Planning/Projects) Satish Jha, Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar, and Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Chairman of Sarvodaya Group of Hospitals.
In his opening remarks, Singh highlighted the crucial role of doctors in society and the importance of conferences like this for knowledge sharing and professional development. He encouraged attendees to learn from each other’s experiences and to stay abreast of the latest medical innovations. Other dignitaries echoed this sentiment, stressing the event’s significance in enhancing the capabilities of the medical community.
The conference aims to serve as a collaborative platform for experienced medical professionals within Coal India, providing them with insights into the latest healthcare advancements to better serve employee health.
