Ranchi: Jharkhand’s caretaker Chief Minister, Hemant Soren, along with his wife Kalpana Soren, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi today to invite him to attend the swearing-in ceremony of his government. The ceremony is scheduled for November 28 at the Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi.
The Prime Minister’s Office shared pictures of the meeting, which was followed by a post from Soren on social media platform X. “Met Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji in Delhi today and invited him to attend the swearing-in ceremony of ‘Abua Sarkar’ (our government) on 28th November,” Soren wrote in Hindi.
The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader, who led the INDIA bloc to a decisive victory over the BJP-led alliance, also confirmed invitations extended to other prominent political figures, including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Dipankar Bhattacharya, Arvind Kejriwal, MK Stalin, Mamata Banerjee, and Kanimozhi, among others. The event at Morhabadi Ground is expected to be a significant display of strength for the INDIA bloc.
