Prayagraj: Three medical colleges, around 62 new Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and five innovation and training centers will soon to be set up to promote industrial and technological growth in UP.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced in a cabinet meeting held at Prayagraj on Wednesday, where several development proposals for the state were approved.

During the meeting CM announced the establishment of three new medical colleges in Hathras, Kasganj, and Baghpat to enhance healthcare facilities.

CM Yogi also revealed the renewal of the state’s Aerospace and Defence policy, with new incentives aimed at attracting investment. In an effort to boost infrastructure, he announced that municipal corporation bonds would be issued for cities including Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Agra.

Furthermore, CM Yogi highlighted the creation of the Prayagraj-Chitrakoot development region, inspired by Lucknow’s growth strategies. A major infrastructure project, the Ganga Expressway, will connect key cities in eastern Uttar Pradesh, improving connectivity and fostering economic growth.
