Bokaro: A grand Matripuja (Mother Worship) ceremony was organized at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro, on Wednesday, under the guidance of Acharya Swamini Sanyuktanand Saraswati from Chinmaya Mission. Students from classes 3 to 5 participated by washing their mothers’ feet, offering flowers, and performing aarti, showcasing their devotion.

Swamini Sanyuktanand emphasized that life cannot be imagined without mothers, and Matripuja is a cherished tradition that promotes respect for parents and strengthens family values. The event began with Vedic mantras and Ganesh Vandana, followed by heartfelt expressions of gratitude from the children towards their mothers.

The ceremony was attended by School President Vishwaroop Mukhopadhyay, Secretary Mahesh Tripathi, Principal Suraj Sharma, Vice Principal Narendra Kumar, and teachers from classes 3 to 5. Rashmi Singh, Academy Supervisor, played a key role in organizing the event.
