Bokaro: Blood donation is akin to giving life, and an apt way of repaying to nature the debt of one’s own life, said Ajay Kumar Dutta, Chief Engineer and Project Head of Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS).
“By donating blood, one not only can give new life to others, but he can also overcome from many diseases. Donating blood is also good for donor’s health.” he added.
Dutta was speaking during the inaugural session of a blood donation camp organized on Tuesday in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society Bokaro at DVC Chandrapura hospital. Around 21 people donated blood in the voluntary blood donation camp.
Dutta appealed, “More and more people to donate blood so that even the last person in the society can be saved from the loss due to lack of blood.”
Besides others, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. K. P. Singh, A. K. Srivastava, Parambir Kumar, Dr. U Mahanti of Indian Red Cross Society, DVC Hospital’s Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr K P Singh, Dr AK Srivastava, Dr Paramveer Kumar, Dr Anupam Singha, Joint Director Ajay Kumar Singh, Akshay Kumar, Kaushalendra Kumar, Deepak Kumar Singh, Dilip Kumar, Mohapatra, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) cops were activily participated in the blood donation camp.
